Take a closer look at Campingplatz Herbolzheim in Germany. With rolling hills, deep valleys and beautiful lakes all around, this small, authentic parc is perfect for walkers and cyclists. And with the Autobahn network nearby, it’s great for sightseeing, too.
The owners have designed it to be quiet and restful, with grassy, terraced pitches offering views over the Black Forest. There is a great heated pool complex next door which opens in early May (there’s a small entrance fee for this). Herbolzheim itself, just a short walk or bus ride away, is well worth a visit. That’s after you sit down, relax, and take in all that breathtaking scenery.
