Camping le Chaponnet at Brem sur Mer
The 4* Camping le Chaponnet opens in early April and closes in late September. This campsite is located in Brem-sur-Mer, 300 yds from the beautiful sandy beach near to the renowned seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne on the“Côte de lumière” in Vendée.
The campsite boasts a superb pool complex with a heated swimming pool, children’s pool. Toddlers will enjoy the heated paddling pool and water garden, an outdoor water playground (new for 2017). Older children will love the brand new water slides added for the 2017 season For the grown-ups there’s a solarium, Hammam steam room, sauna and hydro-massage to enjoy.
Back on dry land, there's plenty to keep you active too. There’s a multi-sports ground where you can play ball games including football and basketball. Try your hand at boules or relax with a cooling drink at the campsite bar before enjoying a delicious pizza from the on-site pizzeria.
Camping Chaponnet is perfect for families, offering a site-run children’s club, children’s playground and evening entertainment suitable for the whole family. Shops can be found 200 yards from the campsite entrance.
Round and about Camping le Chaponnet
Twice a week in high season the local market takes place just 200m from Camping Chaponnet where you’ll find local foods and crafts.
Parc des Genêts, found next to the campsite, is a good place to start to explore the local area either on foot or by bike following the numerous cycle paths. Not to be missed is the Corniche Vendéenne. Cycle or drive this stunning coastal road with spectacular views of the Vendee coastline.
Sables d’Olonne is just ten miles from the campsite away and offers spectacular sandy beaches. Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, (also 10 miles), is a lovely place to spend the day.
Nature lovers will love Ile d’Yeu with its little coves and gorgeous beaches along the coast. For history fans, Le Puy du Fou, a historical theme park is a great day out for all the family.
