St Aygulf lies smack bang facing the beautiful shores of the Mediterranean Sea and across from the trendy resorts of Frejus and St Raphael. It can become very hot in this region during the high season so packing plenty of sun cream seems like a good idea, and you will find that to be far cheaper to buy in the UK. At Aygulf is one of the quieter camping resorts by the way.
Provence, the Cote d'Azur and all the southern French camping resorts are superb and it costs no more to have a holiday in one of them than it does anywhere else in France. The drawback comes when you need to buy things and then you may find that the cost of living in these areas is higher than you may be used to.
But you are on holiday so don't worry about finance!
Nearby, a short journey to the west, is the very well known town of St Tropez, and the much smaller resort of Port Grimaud, whilst in the other direction lie Cannes, Nice, Monaco and the Italian border.
Camping and mobile home holidays have been popular here for many years now and are set to continue for another millennium yet.
