Camping Domaine de Léveno, Guérande Peninsula in southern Brittany

Camping Domaine de Leveno with Canvas Holidays

The 4* Camping Domaine de Léveno opens early in April until late September.

The Domaine de Léveno campsite is a large family orientated site in the heart of unspoilt countryside within the Brière Regional Park in southern Brittany. The site is located just over 4 miles inland from La Baule, which is home to the longest, and one of the most beautiful beaches in France.

On site, you will find an array of facilities; life is centred on the impressive pool complex with heated indoor and outdoor pools, a wave pool, lazy river and some thrilling chutes and waterslides, as well as hydro massage beds and a solarium for a more relaxed pace.

For those with a sporty nature, there is a small gym, tennis, multi-sports area and bike hire available on site. Cycling is a particularly popular way of exploring the surrounding Guérande Peninsula and its patchwork of salt marshes or the marshes of the regional park.

After a day of exploring, enjoy some time relaxing in the modern bar and restaurant on site or taking part in the events run by the entertainment team throughout July and August, including some kids clubs with sports and arts themed sessions.

Please note that some facilities and activities are only available during high season. Please check at the time of booking if there is an activity or facility which is crucial for your holiday.Pool complex at domaine de Leveno

Round and about camping Domaine de Léveno

Domaine de Léveno is located just minutes from the sea, within 4 miles of the most famous beach on the Brittany coast, at La Baule. Its location on the Guérande Peninsula means it is ideally placed for exploring the Brière Regional Park, an ecological jewel with marshes, canals, thatched houses – take a punt ride with a local to discover the hidden network of little canals and wildlife. The campsite is located in the beautiful walled town of Guérande (famed for its salt marshes) and there is a large supermarket just over one mile from site.

The medieval walled town of Guérande is a must-see on any visit to the Loire-Atlantique department. Overlooking salt marshes to the south and the peat bogs of Brière to the north, Guérande and its surrounding area make a great day out for all the family.

The Vélocéan cycle way passes the campsite and is an idea way to explore the surrounding area, into La Baule, Saint Nazaire, Pornichet, Piriac-sur-Mer or even as far as La Turballe.
