The 4* Camping Lou Broustariq is set in a picturesque location in the northern Landes department of France very near to a large lake. This is a great site for families with lots of activities on offer and Lou Broustariq is a short walk from Lake Sanguinet where you can enjoy swimming, fishing and hiking. It’s also an ideal spot to discover the wonderful local scenery.
With a family friendly atmosphere, the campsite is home to some fantastic facilities, including several pools, water slides and a relaxing wellness centre. Youngsters will have a great time at the children's club (ages 6 to 12) and there’s also a club for teens (ages 12 to 17) packed with activities and entertainment.
The campsite offers many sports such as volleyball, boules and table tennis. There’s also a number of sporting activities close to the campsite, such as tennis, mini-golf, horse-rising and a sailing club - perfect for those who like active holidays.
Round and about
There’s lots to explore during a
stay at Camping Lou Broustariq. Admire the many beautiful nature reserves and
gorgeous lakeside beaches in the near-by town of Sanguinet. Make sure you take
a trip to the Dune of Pilat - Europe’s biggest sand dune.
Now if you like surfing then you are only a few Kms from the beaches at Biscarrosse where the surfing is excellent – depending on the tides of course. If you can’t surf then buy a cheap belly board which is nearly enough fun.
The surrounding area is home to many shops and evening markets where you can pick up some unique souvenirs. There are also plenty of opportunities to sample the delicious local cuisine and regional specialities.
For those who love history, the Biscarrosse Seaplane museum is less than a 30 minute drive away.
