Domaine des Chênes Verts is a family friendly campsite located in a beautiful natural setting in Calviac-en-Périgord, just a short distance from the river. This campsite offers a warm welcome on a site carefully integrated into a green natural environment of 9 hectares, 6 kilometres from Sarlat, a renowned medieval city.
If you enjoy spending time in the pool, then you’ll enjoy making the most of the campsite's lovely swimming pool complex. There's an outdoor pool, heated covered pool, thrilling 2-lane water slide and a paddling pool for younger family members.
For the kids there's a free site-run children's club available during July and August (for ages 3-8 and 9-12 years). Children will also love the mini-farm, at the heart of Camping Domaine des Chênes Verts, where there's lots of animals to meet including goats and rabbits.
The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Enjoy delicious seasonal dishes at the 4-star restaurant; choices include duck and Perigord salad as well as a wide range of pizzas. Finish the evening with a drink while you enjoy the onsite entertainment, which ranges from bingo nights to concerts and fireworks. Sports pitches and evening entertainment come together at the heart of the Calviac-en-Périgord, in an unique natural setting.

The campsite is set in the very heart of Black Périgord, and you can travel along the winding roads of the Dordogne to discover some of the most beautiful villages in France. Sarlat is just 6 miles away, a renowned medieval city.
The Périgord area is renowned for its food so this is the ideal campsite to sample the best French cuisine. The campsite is close to 18 miles of cycle paths where you can explore the wonderful local scenery
Around half an hours drive from the campsite are the Lascaux Caves with their fascinating Palaeolithic cave paintings. The paintings are estimated to be up to 20,000 years old and are famous due to their outstanding quality, size, sophistication and age. Also well worth visiting are the caves of Cougnac, Font de Gaumes, Maxange, gardens (Marqueyssac, Eyrignac, etc.), castles Castelnaud, Beynac, les Milandes, Reignac fortified house, not forgetting the chasms (Padirac and Proumeyssac
Take a visit to Calviac Zoo where you can enter the habitats of the lemurs and wallabies! The zoo is well known for its conservation efforts and does a great job of educating as well as entertaining.
